When should I book?
I recommend booking your photo session at least one week in advance, this will give us enough time to have pre-consultation to make sure I deliver the best results for you. Maternity sessions are best booked between 30 and 35 weeks. For newborns, I recommend to schedule the session 1-2 weeks after your due date and can adjust based on your baby’s arrival. No worries if your baby is older, we are skilled to capture best moments for your baby at any age.
Where do the session take place?
For every session, you have the option to take the photos at a beautiful location within Sydney or at my home studio or at your home. During pre-consultation, we will work together to find perfect location and the photoshoot style settings. For outdoor shoot ,I highly recommend sunset or sunrise for beautiful light.
What happens if it rains?
I monitor the weather closely and will contact you a couple of days before the session to discuss the plan. Given Sydney's unpredictable weather, I usually wait until the morning of the session to make the final decision. If rain is expected, we’ll reschedule or look at alternate dates to ensure you have a fantastic session. Otherwise we have option of indoor studio shoot too.
What time do the sessions take place?
For indoor shoot, i recommend booking session between 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Newborn sessions typically take place between 10;00 am to 2;00 pm in the comfort of your home or at my studio. . For family and maternity sessions, I prefer scheduling during "golden hour" as natural light is soft, flattering, and provides a beautiful glow.
What Happens after booking
Once you choose date and package, you will be sent a contract to sign and an invoice. I require a $150 deposit for all sessions to hold the date and the remaining balance is due the day of shooting. You can pay electronically or in cash on the day, whatever suits you best.
What should I wear?
After booking, you’ll receive a detailed session guide with styling recommendations and tips to help you prepare. You will also get access to my client closet for mums.
Can i cancel my photography session?
If you no longer wish to proceed the photography session once it's confirmed, you may cancel up to 72 hours prior to the photography session. To do so, you must send a written cancellation notice via either email or text message. This means you will forfeit the initial deposit.
What happens if I have to reschedule the date?
If you need to reschedule for any reason, please try to give us at least 24 hours notice. We will get in touch with you to reschedule and your deposit will carry over onto the new date.
